History of the Migraine Program

Like many groundbreaking medical events, the discovery of the Migraine Program happened serendipitously. In 1996, upon moving to the United States, Dr. Dzugan became a scientific consultant to Dr. Arnold Smith at the North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center in Greenwood, Mississippi. His role there was to stay current on the latest advances in nutraceutical and hormonal medicine treatments with a particular focus to improve health and strengthen the immune system to increase the ability of patients to fight cancer*. Soon, many patients who had once suffered with migraine reported that they were now migraine-free. Dr. Dzugan began to closely analyze his treatment plans and began to develop his theories on the underlying causes of migraine and in methods to treat this horrific condition.

For several years thereafter, Dr. Dzugan successfully consulted with patients and their physicians to create personalize plans in their efforts to prevent migraine. In 2003, Dr. Dzugan met Dr. Rozakis and began to explain his methods in migraine prevention therapies. Dr. Rozakis, skeptical at first, identified a few of his patients with 30+ year histories of migraine and began consulting with Dr. Dzugan to develop their optimal program. These patients had been treated at reputable clinics and by other prestigious conventional physicians and had spent thousands of dollars on treatments that did not work for them. Within a few weeks, these patients began to see success and over time, Drs. Rozakis & Dzugan worked to optimize their programs and as a result their migraines profoundly improved and their quality of life has improved dramatically as well.

After seeing continued success with Dr. Dzugan's methods, they began to work on developing sophisticated systems to allow for Dr. Dzugan to consult with patients around the world in developing their optimal plans under physician supervision. In November 2006, Dr. Dzugan's released a book outlining many of the principles utilized in the Migraine Program and they continue to work together in assisting patients worldwide in preventing their migraines and fighting this uphill battle against this terrible affliction.

Dr. Dzugan is an internationally known expert in anti-aging and hormonal medicine. He has 127 publications in surgical, oncology, academic and anti-aging medical journals, and holds three patents in the area of cardiovascular surgery. He has been invited to speak at numerous anti-aging conferences with presentations including "A New Method of Migraine Treatment: The Simultaneous Restoration of Neurohormonal and Metabolic Integrity."

Dr. Rozakis is a pioneer in LASIK and Implant surgery and has always been involved in groundbreaking technologies in his efforts to provide the optimal care to his patients. In addition to working with migraine patients, he is applying the science developed by Dr. Dzugan to the problem of macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in the United States. He has made multiple appearances on television and radio stations discussing Dr. Dzugan's methods and the success he's experienced with his patients.
